So, my girlfriend and I are really interested in learning how to Lindy Hop, and the closest organizations that could help me out with that are in different cities. Being 16, we aren’t really able to go out of town and spend alot of money.
We’re sticking to Youtube videos for now, but I really don’t feel like that’s enough. XD How did you guys get started? c:
I had an ask about this a while back. It might also be worth investing in a fundamentals DVD by renowned teaching couple, which would give you a bit more structure. (e.g. here or here). Not sure how good either of those are - feel to recommend one you found helpful!
Lindy Hop Moves is basically a directory of instructional videos on the youtubes.
If you can’t make it out social dancing at all, even getting some friends to learn with you and practising with each other instead of only the two of you dancing together would probably help.
